When we had a new Rayburn cooker fitted nearly 40 years ago they used wooden rollers to move it across the kitchen floor. Unfortunately one of the rollers had a nail in it and it left a trail of small dents across the tiled floor!

yea they had a fat b with them and didn't want him to get stuck

Yep definitely some moving skills derived from the ancient Egyptians there. Only difference is you never had a guy standing by to chop your head off if you were didn't succeed or go fast enough..
