They've had their fingers in a lot of pies over the years...Hi, Rank and Xerox are two different companies with there own fonts. Rank is British and Xerox is American. For a foreign company to trade in the UK, at that time, they have to have a British partner, so that could explain the mixture of fonts.

The R in Xerox matches the one on the car windscreen, I wonder how long after they took delivery of the passes it took someone to notice the error.And yet the "R" IN Rank is different to the "R" in Xerox, in your example.
