I was in the local town today and decided to peruse what looked like a traditional small hardware shop

Turned out to be an extremely large Aladdin's cave!

Very well organised into sections, not one of those places that requires digging for treasure

Managed to procure some furniture wax in a wife approved colour (finally) and an external PIR for £2. My next planned stop was Screwfix for such an item, a saving of £8

The flowers work well on the mantle to hide her wax marks on the wall from you!

It needed rewaxing due to getting paint on it and the scrubbing of said paint

Wife does not do hiding, the flowers are seasonal and shall be changed for Christmas
