Anyone have any idea what CFM an old Ingersoll Rand Type B pump would be ? It's 1954 and doesn't have any info on it , been offered a supposedly working compressor and this old thing was delivered - not working , tank no good as it's drain plug seems to be bodged up and the motor ( non original 2hp ) doesn't work - thought I might keep the pump if it's capable of over about 6cfm , as i've got another 150 litre tank that i want to couple up with a Sip 420/150 3hp compressor . I know it's unlikely but any ideas welcome .......answers on a postcard please...... Regards Al.

I'll try to post a pic tomorrow , I found a reference to a 1954 type b - when i googled it and the post suggested that it had about a 3/4 or 1hp ( if the one he was refering to still had the original motor ) Al.
P.S the Sip compressor says 14.0 on it - i'm presuming CFM , but I should think that it would only be about 9 CFM free air or there abouts ?

Sorry to invade your thread mate,but has anyone got any pictures of these ancient ingersoll rand compressors,still trying to find out which particular model mine is.
