I started with an old york treadmill that I got for its 3.5hp dc motor & control board. Plan was to strip these bits out & scrap the rest.
Once I started dismantling it I found a load of other useful stuff.
This is the belt motor & control gear.
There is also the incline motor which is 220v ac & reversible and it moves a rod in & out via a screw thread.
The running board was supported by 6 heavy duty M8 rubber mounts.
The running board is a sheet of MDF with a very slippery plastic coating on one side. Might be used as an extension table for my table saw.
A pair of heavy duty bearing mounted rollers, above them 2 lengths of shs that slide together. I will use these to build height adjustable rollers for my band saw.
Various pieces if surprisingly decent tubing, including a nice ladder chassis. It might form the basis of a lightweight trailer I'm going to build to go behind dads ride-on lawnmower.
There's also a length of belting that is going to replace the rubber strip on the bottom of that door.
So keep an eye out for these as they can be bought for peanuts - I gave £5 for this one.
