Old welding rod collections ?

Just wondering does anyone out there actually collect old arc welding rods and packets/cartons ?
I'm not talking the odd packet from 5 years ago I'm talking really old stuff.
Some of the old names and designs I find very interesting,

I did have more but I loaned them to someone doing a lecture and never got them back....as usual..........I should know better
Ive been involved in the industry for the past 40ish years and I wrote some of them......so Ive a vested interest

I have one empty, plastic, Eutectic Castolin mma rod box, 316 grade. Circa, late 70's, early 80's. Wonder if worth anything?

I've got one of those boxes, red box, yellow lid, mine had ss rods in it too

Not a collector but I got some rods with my old oilcooled think they are a fair age

I was working on a demolition site part of which was an old welding works, vandals had busted open a drying oven and scattered the whole floor with electrodes, I collected and sorted the lot from the pidgeon ****, I still have some strange ones, castolins, fleet welds, 6011, stainless ect.

I had fat black ones marked B10, they must have been iron powder, they were beauties to use, no one knows what they were though.

Ive got a load of old Rods , some are as old as me , Pink in colour been in the cupboard since I started working here !

We used to colour code the ends...........it was easy to just get a hand full and dip them in paint

never seen any with a "dot" like that.............having said that the 1920s are before even my time.....I know thats hard to believe

Not far off 100 years old they must be worth preserving........somewhere

We should start a Welding Museum...........and before anyone asks..........NO... I dont want to be an artifact
