'On gun' regulator issue ?

I have my spray guns set up at home. I have a final inline regulator at the gun, but, it will only run at full pressure (from the wall regulator), or if I try to run it at a lower pressure, it just leaks like mad and hisses until I open it up again ?? So, it really isn't doing anything !!!

In honesty, it is only a cheapo Ebay item. But before I shell out on a decent one instead, am I doing something silly ? I have 2 cheap ones and both do the same thing ?

they sound like the same cheap mini regulators I purchased from ebay for the same thing mate I am watching this thread to see what someone comes up with, ?I turned the pressure down on my main reg but that affects the amount of air at my mask too much then

I had a cheap one that did that too, sent it back for a refund.

I now use the little but more expensive blue ones.

Just ordered one of those, there is/ was an offer using a voucher code where you can get it for £2.99, result! Couldn't use the voucher code again though.

It came up automatically when I looked at the item, if it's not there then i guess the offer is over.
