My trust Eyetech started to die this afternoon. Went in for a new one and came out with an Esab Origo-Tech..
First impressions, looked a bit cheap and nasty to be a heavy duty professional jobbie. Price reflects that aswell
Took the lense out to have a look at it all, the thing comes apart into loads of bits. and the cartridge doesnt simply come out like the eyetechs, its connected to the shell by the shade control knob, looks like hard work to clean it all.
Welding away, set on 13 (maximum) look throiugh the top corner, nice and dark, look through the opposite bottom, and it seems a shade or two lighter.
Anyone else got one, or tried one?
