What is the smallest size I can get away with and an average price in SW England please.
Yeah they were replaced with stihl saws for that reason. The oxy is the issue with cutting, those small bottles wont last five minutes when cutting, literally.

Got a phone quote, eeeek. Plus the nearest depo is an hour drive from me.I don’t know what the size bottles were called, but you used to be able to buy a rucksack frame type affair with a tiny cutting set on.
We had one on a ship I was on for burning the tow bridle in emergencies
Edit: Called a portapack apparently https://www.adamsgas.co.uk/product/porta-gas-rent-free-oxygen-gas-2l-200bar-new-bottle/
Shouldn't be doing much cutting. Just my new to me OA kit has that optionThe oxy is the issue with cutting, those small bottles wont last five minutes when cutting, literally.

Rent free is the way to go, for my use.I think nearly all the rent free places will do them. Much of a muchness really. SGS (I think?) are giving money back to members?
That OA kit was a score indeed
I had to look now you mentioned them. They are - air products.com There are a few in Mainland Scotland and one in Lerwick. Plenty in England but some are just agents I think. Was that them that went in with Linde? Or was that Air Liquide? Is Air Products still in the game? They used to be a BOC competitor, our local one has gone.
