Paint containing lead chromate

I was recently given some paint as a company had to clear out all of the "hazardous" stuff to pass an inspection.
I have 2 new 5l tins of paint one of which clearly states it contains lead chromate. What's every ones thoughts on using it?

I know it's harmful if ingested.
Should I take it to the recycling depot for correct disposal

thanks chaps, i only want to brush paint the outside of a couple of my power tool lockers. nothing that will be handled alot or get alot of abuse

I would tend to worry more about when your painted cupboards come to the end of their useful life. Both lead & chromium are extremely toxic heavy metals, the later being the reason the EEC is trying to get chromium plating stopped or at the least severely curtailed.
