hi,can anyone advise me on a good primer and top coat paint(sprayable) for bare untreated steel.i am making some railings for a mate who originally wanted it powder coated until he found out the cost of that process.i just need something that aint gonna rust for a good few years.

Cheap old oxide primer to 20 micron (1 thick coat)
2 coats of proprietory gloss, first thinned 20%
Should give 5yrs before service.
