Well went to spend a few quid and got to Lidl and seen a loads of Parkside gear available, and one thing i have wanted for ages was an angle grinder cut off attachment. And they had them in
Set it up straight away like xmas day
Well seems good enough for £15, solid and fit fir 125mm discs and as it is all i use is 115mm, so ill be investing in bigger discs and then use the discs in my other angle grinder for other work when they ware out.
Instructions are crap but if i can work it out o reckon you can.
I trued my cordless Dewalt but it does not fit as the holding bolts do not screw in enough to hold the grinder square.
So i fitted the 240v Dewalt and fits nice. just infact as the arms that hold the grinder inplace buy the M10 handle holes separate just enough.
this is with 115mm discs ( it is for 125mm ) fitted and full drop, the grinder nits the vice so little spare for ware of the discs.
After a few cuts of 25x3mm bar i found these grinder adjusment bars come loose, easy fix by adding large nuts and wing nuts to them instead of the screw driver slot to tighten them up. dont like the thought of over tightening them into te grinder body to much.
not sure wat these are for, maybe depte stops. cant see a use for them anyway.
they go here on the nut that goes into the grinder handle hole.
So in all i am happy with it for the £15 they are, cut fairly accurately, as accurate as you would expect for thsi kind of gear. just steady setting up and its good. Then a few fettles like said the grinder adjustment bars need a not nut to stop coming loose. and bigger discs like a 150mm or even 180mm if they fit in the guard so as to get more life from the discs.
