You are correct. My early morning maths was right (1.3”) but wrong column on the chart.1.3" ,works out at 33.02mm. That is the Metric equivalent , of a 3/4 whitworth , fitting or bolt.
1/2" BSP hydraulic fittings are usually 1and1/4" / 32mm

The hydraulics on the creel haulers / mackerel strippers are FrenchI was thinking maybe, a hydraulic fitting on a plane , or a large threaded electrical connection / plug.
As an aside, on Manitou telehandlers, which are French built, the filler plugs , for transmission and the small gearbox, that splits the drive from the engine are 33mm/ 3/4W. The transmissions, were originally built in Birmingham, by,Turners Ltd.
And the bolt holes for holding on brake caliper, to transmission are1/2" UNC.
that soon teaches young lads to put everything, in a box,when dismantling, when they can't get a new bolt out of store!
