Shortly, I will be embarking on the adventure that is changing the timing belts and water pump on my beloved Porsche 944.
I think that the water pump has been on the car since it left Stuttgart! So I am fully expecting some firmly seized nuts and bolts.
Many of the 944 forum subscribers suggest soaking the bolts in PB Blaster - they all reckon it knocks the spots off WD-40. However, I can't seem to find a supplier in the UK.
From reading anothe forum, someone else has recommended Penol (careful how you spell that!) penetrating fluid. Again, I can't seem to find this anywhere.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find these products? Alternatively, what is your favourite potion / technique for freeing rusted fasteners?
