Penguin help please!

Having seen all the outdoor burners shaped like pigs and cows I wanted to make a horizontal one for (her) indoors but with an internal fan heater and the glass chunk/coals flame effect from an old electric fire.
I have a scrap tank that I started to cut up along with old electric fire parts I had a pig in mind but ran out of inspiration.
Wife's present obsession is with penguins so I am back on figuring this out. Unfortunately I have one missing ingredient - artistic talent, however it seems to be in abundance in this bit of the forum so any help, ideas or even sketches on how to turn this in to a penguin much appreciated..

you want to extend the front part down and forward into 2 feet looking

as for the wings id choose thin metal bend it over a bar shaped more like a plane wing at the rear

head i will let you choose

make sure you set fire to it inside and out first

Eyes, Here is one method I have used.

Round off the end of some round bar, plug weld into some rounded off tube.

Hmm I have some gearbox synchro's that might do the job

@selectedgrub fab idea! Looking at pics though they seem to have more oval eyes than round, so I might make the tube oversize and squish it first.

I have most of the internals done but got stuck at the eyes and mane, had another go today. the bearings are welded but the centers and brows are not affixed yet

Well it took a while but the Penguin made an appearance for Xmas. LED flicker bulbs, coloured glass from an old fire and a fan heater (that retains it's safety cut outs) in the base - it looks a bit more obvious in the pic than in real life as the controls are hidden by chunks of coloured glass. Wife loves it
