Pheasant feathers

Been ages since I did anything completely devoid of function but was requested something "made" as a wedding present so had a go at these. (Only a few months late)

Wedding was a bit jungly/Dreamcatcher inspired with plenty of feathers incorporated so went for this as a sort of reminder of the day.

I'm not 100% happy with how they turned out, the rusting isn't orange enough. But they'll do. I was happy with the forged feather spines though. They're a bit fat for pheasant feathers but I decided they looked too skinny when done much narrower.

They are meant to be wall hung but I didn't have a suitable nail for the pics.

Colour is fine! Lots of types of pheasant plus cross bred and mongers. Colour will hence vary some

Thanks, they're quite a bit brighter in the pics as I tweaked the colours a bit. They're fine for the purpose though.

No sign of trouble yet, anyway, they're too spindly to do any real damage!
