So thanks to @roofman , I now have a lovely double ended shaft to which I can add my recently restored Picador adjustable motor mounting.
Now I know this isn't how they mate but just to show they are the same family with matching spacings and general sizes.
Can't remember where this came from (though there's probably a thread on here about it).
So on my motorised todo list is:
2X72 belt sander
Surface sanding attachment (like a surface grinder but using a wide abrasive belt)
Polishing <thing>
I have a ton of spare motors to play with and all the time in the world. I'll probably post up whatever contraption I come up with, so at this early stage, any suggestions welcome.
