Plastic bumpers.

Whats the do with painting a bumper? It is a Citreon and has a couple of cracks at the corner. The paint is metalic green . If mixed to the colour and with a suitable filler primer and basecoat..........would we get a decent match colour wise. Is it then lacquered over?

I have two pack primer and laquer. Would spray it outside in warmer weather.

Ok seen a similar post and I would need plastic primer. Once plastic primed can I put a celly colour over this without a coat of standard celly primer ? Then what lacqeur to use after it?......I have two pack.

I take it bumper needs rubbed down right to plastic base ?

do the repair plastic primer it then use your normal primer so that you can flat it back (dont rub through) then paint as normal with base coat and laquer
regarding 2 pack and temperature just use a fast activator

upol do a complete range just for that soert of job,fillers,primers.

I painted and repaired a bumper a while back. Used a upol plastic filler for a couple of gouges although I reckon a normal filler would have been fine, upol high build primer, then painted over with 2k. It was a solid colour so didn't bother with lacquer. Still on there no problems months later.
