Plumbing this Potential CO2 Cylinder

Hello, I had joined the forum with the purchase of a second hand Telwin/Sealey 150 MIG Welder. So having welded previously with the small hobby cylinders on my previous SIP I found this Cylinder that came with a regulator in my workshop. I can get it checked out before filling, I have two contacts for welding gas through my VW friends. it will chain to the rear of the welder nicely but will it be up to the job?..


The regulator on the welder is damaged and has wrong connector for the Cylinder..



However I can plumb this regulator with better gauges..



Should there be o-rings here to seal with this connector?..

My CO2 fitting has a fibre washer on it. Sadly my supply of cheap gas has dried up so I will have to swap over to expensive blended gas. Don't loose the bull nose bottle fitting from your other regulator, you will need it for argon mix cylinders if you need to use them.
