Polyester Spray Filler

I was wondering if anybody could give me some advise. If I use Polyester Spray Filler can I use a two pak top coat or does it need to be polyester based?

There is an issue with putting 2 pack on top of acrylic in that acrylic / cellulose is slightly flexible, but 2 Pack is rock hard and may crack unless the primer is 2 Pack as well. Not sure about polyester filler, or if you need a barrier coat.

polyester,then normal primer,then top coat. ici do a great ployester,but not sure if ici is still on the market.
spec sheet are a mine of info.i never buy with out the spec sheet

Same line of thought, the ICI one (as was) company now nexar i believe, that spray filler was superb!!

No you're right there, but it's the best there is in my view....a dream to use, and doesn't sink like a stone!!!!

What will you be doing with the spray filler??? Is it just for specific repairs you've done??? or the entire area???

I never actually sprayed a whole panel with it, just used it more as a kind of polyester stopper on filler work, small repairs i used to brush it on.

just make sure you dont leave anything to long in spray poly it absorbs moisture like mad get it sprayed and flatted and primed asap

spray filler is great for big flat panels that have a few repairs on them.

3 coats of sprayfiller guide coat it and block it with p180 strips on a good quality flat block, prime and paint.

Excellant product have not used it for a very long time but used to love it.
