Are you going to fit complete new sills? and if so do you know of anyone who supplies panels for them?

Not yet, I'm going to fabricate a piece and butt weld it in, the rust is only in one small area of the sill.

ISTR on the Porsche club GB 944 forum they were talking about replacement outer sills. I think they are available, but not cheap!

Good idea! I've used zinc spray inside the sills to protect the previous repairs. But making the piece out of zintec would be even better.

Bear in mind, that areas where shrinking & stretching have taken place, will affect the protective zinc coating. I use Zintec sheets for my vehicle's repair panels.

Porscheshop do sills for them if you have a spare 80 or so quid. Alternatively give Lye Panels in the West Midlands a shout and they can supply the same thing for £15 (Guess where Porscheshop buy them?!!!).

£15?? That is a great tip! The sills should be cheap as they are a very simple shape.
