portable subwoofer for the garden

So I've been making this object, it's a subwoofer on wheels, with an amp and a battery.

I need to add on a telecopic handle similar to those found on Roller Luggage, but those are all total garbage! really awful quality.

Can anyone suggest a decent telescopic handle I could weld on here?

I was thinking to use two Telescopic Wheel Braces, but thats kind of a junky idea too.

Gaz I like that, great simplicity. Could probably do similar with round bar also.

Does anyone know if the wheel braces are carbon steel, wondering can I weld them.

How about a huge U shaped hinged handle? Could double up as a bumper when folded flat.

Make the wheel brace heavy enough it won’t matter....
DeWalt won’t use anything special if they don’t have to.....
It,s only gotta last a year....
Have the largest DeWalt planer thicknesser plus the 305mm sliding chop saw...
Better than diy gear but only just....only got em cos they r big'ish and portable....

Barking Mat hi, no it's going to pulled along like a roller bag so front lip will be in the air. Removable handle is on the list of considerations.

Screwdriver hello, thats a valid idea, I just dont know how to execute it an an attractive way.

Reckon I gotta look at other items that are towed in this way for ideas.

I'm still building this thing, i have two weeks off work and im spending those weeks, building this. Reckon it'll be a weapon when its done.

Will update this thread with progress. Anyone comes up with wacky ideas or suggestions, bring them on. Feel free to tangent.

Hey there Brad. Thats a good looking case. It's also expensive, lol to buy and then take a grinder to it. Good to know there are good quality handles out there, I reckon I might go trawl ebay for used cases.

Dont forget that any handle folding telescopic or any other moving part for that matter is going to rattle due to frequency if it's not a very good tight fit, and it will drive you mad
