Possible to convert a Mig to Arc?

Hello, Please forgive my ignorance. I have welded casually for many years but never became much of an expert on the subject.

My question is this: Can a Mig wleder be converted over to an Arc welder. I have a spare cable and stick holder but I don't know if the Mig operates on such different principles that it is impossible to are wled with it by changing cables and bypassing the feed switch.

I can tell you that the welder is only able to produce 100 amps max so I know I would be limited by that fact alone but still wondered if it was possible.

MIG is constant voltage (CV).

Arc is constant current (CC).

In a pinch, I have used a MIG for arc, but it was difficult to maintain the arc and was very sensitive to arc length.
