powder coat or paint alloy wheels

As above, what's best in the long run? I have concerns over paint cracking on the wheels bead causing water to get in and the paint to flake off? I have some wheels I want returned. Either pay to have them coated or spray them myself, not painted anything before so will be rattle can

powder will be more durable than rattle can paint

but as you say once it ages it cant be touched in spot repair

as with everything theres good n bad ...if you have em done make sure they use a primer first

I would definitely say get them Powder Coated, you should be able to get a decent job done for about £40-£60 per wheel and the finish will be very tough and look nice to boot.

I had my Merv alloys painted in 2 pack a couple of years ago, they still look good. I prepped them and the local sprayshop did them all for 60 notes.
