Powder coat removal?

I have some rock sliders that need stripping, is there any paint strippers that will effectively remove the powder coat? I would like to use something I can easily get my hands on.

Most of the powder coat had been rubbed off from previous use but what is left needs removing before I can paint them up.

im pretty sure i have heard that rust and blue remover (used for rifles and shotguns) will strip powder coating.

would need a lot though

Burn it off. I use a propane torch and clear an entire Landrover bumper in five minutes.

Maybe a propane torch would be a good idea. At the moment I've been using nitro moors to get through the coats of paint that have been applied over the powdercoat & that has removed some of the powdercoat aswell but it's time consuming

If you burn it off make sure you don't damage the metal that's been coated and the fumes produced are lethal and stink to high heaven.

I burn off outside for that very reason. Not a mixture you want to breath in!

The propane torch is the method my local powder coating company put me onto. They use it all the time for correcting issues....
