Probably Matt was hinting back then to newly announced R-Series, that was first shown at Euroblech exhibition.
Seems to be an inverter based successor to M-Series. At first glance the LCD screen is the same as on Telwins and some other Chinese multiprocess welders. Probably it will be released for sales at the beginning of new year.
I’d say @Madis Moppel is right I think that’s the welder Matt was eluding too nice looking machine. Kinda glad I thought I gave up waiting on it though size wise it’s too big for my application. Though sure to be superb in any work shop if my micor tig was anything to go by.
There will be a Mobile version of both machines later this year in Sept. I have already seen the design for the housing but it’s not yet final so I can’t share any images.
However the HMI in the mobile version will be different (unique to Lorch) and will be shared with our new flagship Pulse machine, the IQS which will also launch in September.
With the IQS, I can promise that there will be some industry/world firsts, with features and tech never seen before in a welding machine. It’s still too early to share details publically but watch this space
