I need to add a pressure regulator for my sandblaster with a water trap too, can I use the 1/4" ones or would that limit my airflow? I can't find any 3/8" with water trap or they are way too expensive. Btw are the ebay any good?

Mine's 1/2 inch and mounted away from the pot. It's a Parker brand, I've not had much luck with Clarke ones, never bought one off Ebay.
Don't mount it on the pot as it's possible for media to blow back along the air line, and this could interfere with the regulator.

go for the larger bore one 1/4 wont do it .even if manufacturer says it does. I use half inch one on the 3mm jet
Is there any cheap 1/2" that gets the job done or 3/8"?

I just use a cheapo machine mart one on my pot. nothing flash needed
Here in Portugal I can only find 1/4" at the stores, how much is "cheapo" for you? :P Would one from ebay work or are those too crappy?
