Primus refillable bottles

Hi folks,

Just acquired these 3 primus propane bottles, how do I tell if they're the refillable type? Only 1 has a valve extra to the torch connector, also are they the same fitment as a mapp cylinder for the likes of a rothenberger superfire ii?

The superfire2 bottles have a male thread.

What do I need to refill from a 47kg or 19kg?

If the adaptor is £15 then it would be cheaper just to buy a new propane cylinder for the superfire as you'll still need to buy the filling adapter as well.

you cant buy a propane cylinder to fit the torch . just the throwaway bottles

But I have loads of big bottles for the forge etc, and these were free so 15 quid for an adapter is the same as one mapp bottle

Yes but you'll need one adapter to fit those bottles to your torch plus another to refill.
Although you'll have 3 bottles to use if you get 2 adapters rather than just the one..

And then I haven't the issue of disposing of the mapp cylinders either. Scrappy won't take them

I'm sure they'll take them out if they don't want them?

if they are M14 x 1.5mm thread these adaptors should fit
