problem in running a pqr!!

Hi Experts

I'm running a pqr . My colleague have made the mistake in wps and But we can not change the WPS

And the problem is:

pipe thickness: 76
Processes: SMAW

And grinding of root pass is impossible Due to the lack of large grinding plate to reach the root pass

Is there any other process
For root pass grinding
To eliminate P.O - slag, etc.

Would a 9" grinder not get in? Failing that Gouge it out and start again.

Edit; Just reread OP, If a 9" disc wont reach You will perhaps get in with a die grinder
