Problem with my snap on mig

hi, i have a snap on mig.
The one below.
Now the problem is, i had a new pcb board fitted to the machine by a local firm.
But when welding any thickness metal i have to have the wire speed turned right round on the highest settings, any slower than 7 or and it is to slow.
Before the pcb board broke i could set the wire speed just above the number of the heat setting or not far away.
Is there a trim pot like on other machines so i can increase the wire speed?
Any help or info would be appreciated.

Look for a small adjustment pot on teh PCB that sets the minimum wire speed.

Any ideas which is the trim pot for wire speed?

Are there two or three dials on the front panel? The bottom one might be a trim setting but hard to tell.

There are 4 dials on the front panel. 1 for amps, 1 for wire speed, and the other 2 are for spot welding i think?

if you paid to have the work done and its not right, take it back to them expining the problem they have a duty to correct the fault

Thanks, i was hoping to aviod that, as getting it to them and time without the welder.
But i think its probably for the best.

I took my welder back for repair.
Its going to be at least 3 weeks before they can get on to it they said.
They didn't sound to chuffed about doing it to be honest. the tec guy seemed to think that it would probably not work at all rather than only to slow.
Anyway i wait patiently.
In the mean time i've dug out my hobby mig thats been sat doing nothing for years.
A new liner, tip, and gas shroud and she works like new.
Have had to give it a blow out and put a little oil on the fan bearings and shes fine.
Will hopefully post some photos tomorrow night in the relevant section.

they probably tried to put you off with the 3 weeks bit
that really gets me going they take your hard earned cash but dont really want to know after that
companys like that should be named and shamed
