Ok well i prepped my dashboard, gave it a nice dusty coat first, let that tack off then gave it a nice coat of lacqure, i let that tack off and gave it another coat, let that tack off and finally a heavy final coat.
This is the method i used when painting car panels and has never let me down, and it appeared initually to work perfectly with the dashboard.
When i first painted it it came out like glass and i was really pleased, it stayed like this for about an hour then these horrible little bubbles started to come through and after about 2 hours it was completely covered in them.
I then sanded the dash back till the bubbles were gone and lacqured it again, using the same method, but exactly the same thing has just happened again.
So now my question is how can i solve this problem?
Here are some pictures showing how extreme the bubbling is, there are some aread that havent bubbled atall and have stayed smooth, but i just took pictures of the effected areas:
