problems with clarke ranger 100 compressor

hi recently Ive been having problems with my compressor (in title ) which is connected to a 10 ltr blasting pot the pressure builds up to desired pressure and stays there until i start grit blasting then it goes down to 25 psi and stays there until i stop blasting then it build up start blasting goes to 25 no matter what desired pressure i set it to it used to stay around the desired pressure and now it doesn't and have no idea why so does anyone have any ideas as to why its doing it before i take the motor apart ? any help / advice would be really helpful thanx in advance

what size airline are you running from the compressor to the pot?

Sounds like your compressor is way underpowered to run your set up.

eil the compressor worked fine before ??

the air line if far too small 1/2" would be better

Blasting pots use huge amounts of air so I bet your compressor is to small. I had a 200l hydrovane and a small ish Clarke connected together and even then I was running out of air

i just dont get how it worked fine before and now it started playing up ?

Is there excessive water in tank? Filters blocked

does it take longer to fill the receiver then it used to ? if so remove the head and check the valves, sometimes they get clogged up sometimes they fall to pieces
