Proper homebrew compressor !!

Bought this some time ago, pump is a Leyland commercial air brake compressor !!

It looks like one of the Frankenstein ones I used to build before they came down to a realistic price level. Lorry brake tanks were heavily featured as well.

Nice bit of dodgy welding onto the side of a pressure vessel!

Doubt it will be a problem, the thing is so heavy I bet it's at least 10 mm thick !
My favourite bit of 'resourcefulness' is the air filter, it's a baccy tin !!

How's it dodgy? The end caps are held on with weld after all. NB I am aware of the rules governing pressure vessels, but the fittings have to be held on somehow.
