Many moons ago I was looking to buy a 3D printer and the prusa i3 Mk3 was just coming out. I was told this was a good reliable printer but different things happened and I ended up not getting it. I think that was back in 2017/18
So my interest is rekindled and I wondered if this was still a good printer to go for? It's not far off the same price now as it was then.
Has it improved much? I would have thought it would have a colour touch screen by now.
I want a reliable printer with no need for me to be tweeking and changing things all the time. I borrowed a Mk2.5 for a couple of months and to be honest I thought it was pretty good but I believe the mk3 is better in that it's quieter and had other nice tweaks.
They are currently doing a black Friday deal with free delivery and a spare lift off sheet so need to decide today to get that deal.
Hopefully should be able to get it without vat too so working out at around £600
Please forgive me not just doing a search, but as this is "technology based " I think an up to date answer is best due to pricing and what is on the market.
Thanks for your help.
