Puegeot Boxer CV joint removal, HELP PLEASE.

As indicated, the hubs off, the nuts holding on the main or other bearing are off, sorry, it's the long cv shaft, not the short one. With a bearing on the shaft, I would imagine it should pop out the gearbox as for me its all undone. There's no circlip to hold it in the gearbox, I don't want to remove the bearing assembly bracket as the power steering is attached. I've given it a good beating with a fair lump hammer, bearing ceased in holder? any suggestions? Heat ? Am I missing something stupid? Thanks folks.....Mat

Some pugs the joint doesn't always come off its a part of the shaft. You got any pics.

What year is it and would you doing to it I don't wanna sound silly and you changing the joint and have a new one there lol

Thanks, I've got the whole new shaft in front of me, I just can't get the old one out the gearbox, even though I've undone everything, youtube pug videos says 'you turn the two bolts on the bearing holder, and it slides out', my ar$$$$$e.

Sorry, fully wound up, hate peugeots. 1996 diesel 1.9 td minibus thing, I'd give the bearing the oxy/act treatment but its right next to the psteering hydraulics, and I've already snapped off one bolt this afternoon, might get the heat out....

I can't thing the setup. Does it have the 2 11mm that clamp the shaft bearing in

Are you trying to get the joint out the hub or the shaft out the box

Never Done Peugeot But Fords Usually Come Out With A Bit Of A Yank.

Was Just About To Send A Link To Video But Appears You Have Already Tried.

It Suggested Releasing 2 11mm Nuts To Release The Bearing.

Have A Mug Of Tea/Coffee And Have A Go Later.

Shaft out of box, i'd post a photo but you can imagine a plain shaft going into a box, add some grease, and filth.
