Hello,
I discovered a puncture in my rubber hose, so I cut it at that point.
I'm probably looking at this as an opportunity to gain two different sized hoses, rather than to permanently join them to make it one again.
Would you,as shown in the technical drawing below: (a) put adaptors or couplings on both the hose ends and use a double connector, if there is such a thing (or make one with a short bit of hose), or (b)use an adaptor and and coupling, which would mean that one piece wouldn't fit the compressor without another fitting.
Pros and cons of doing it either way? Or something else?
Also, is there a convention for M & F direction?
