R Tech 181 - where to buy and discount codes?

Hello all
New to the forum and was hoping for some advice from you clever lot! I'm on the lookout for a decent Mig welder to complete my classic VW bus restoration. Did a fair bit of car restoration work with my Dad's old Clarke 150te which has now seen better days. Was seduced by the cheap looking Hitbox SYN 200 Pro which claims to do Mig Tig Arc etc etc but not sure I want to take a punt on that without decent comments from users. So after doing some research I'm now leaning towards the 181 given it's popularity on here, however, it's a bit above what I was thinking of forking out on so does anyone have any discount codes or know of any places I could get a good deal?
Any help or advice much appreciated.
Also, when we moved into our place recently the previous owner had metal work equipment. He left us with this...

It's a 110v site transformer, and old one.

R-Tech web site is the place to buy a 181, I don't think there's many other outlets that stock R Tech equipment.

Saying that I've never looked, I've only ever bought 2 items from R Tech, a Plasma Cutter and a LaSquare, both are/have been good purchases.

They do sell off demo units and older models that they have updated at times at reduced prices, so it might be worth a phone call to them...

No, if it works keep it, there's loads of S/Hand 110v tools out there that are useful and fairly cheap...

I have a Makita 110 volt variable speed straight die grinder brilliant bit of kit gave a fiver for it, use it once a year maybe for large flap wheels that my air tool won't drive.

I’ve just got a 181 in the Black Friday Sale. Been looking at them for about 6 months. It is a much better welder than the previous Clarke I had, both in its build quality and ease of use.
The only part I was disappointed in was the gas regulator, I had one from Parweld before, whereas the one supplied doesn’t look as substantial and is very stiff to turn on and off. I’m just hoping it loosens off over time.
RTech normally have discount codes for 10% available, but I don’t think that they had them available during the Black Friday event. If they did I couldn’t find them.

A well known/respected named brand with after sales service, is always better than a here today gone tomorrow name with no back up.

Ok, R-Tech Machines come from the east and we all know that, but if there's problem you phone them and speak to someone, who cares about their products and their customers.

That's why R Tech sells loads of units, and have a price premium, it's called "Good Customer Service Back Up".

A "5 year collect and return UK warranty" is worth a fortune, if you should have a problem.......and at the moment there's a Black Friday deal......they even do 0% Finance

The R-Tech 181 is a good choice; I’ve had the 180 for a few years now and it’s been ideal for learning and car restoration work.

I don’t see a problem with trying to get the best price. Give R-Tech a call and ask them directly; they’re very helpful and will usually offer you their best price.

None verbal communication is always a bit of a tightrope and it’s just too easy to have misunderstandings.

I just noticed @zzr1200 linked the same thing already

They aren't the cheapest but if it goes wrong they will always fix it, I think it's a 5 year warranty now.
You won't get that off eBay or Amazon!

I bought the Rohr 200A which I'm really pleased with, but it isn't currently available.
