Made some parts to fit a cheap ratchet clamp that now can be used with Makita and Festool guide rails (might fit others too).
Works well, how long time have to tell but usually not much clamping force are necessary. I usually don't clamp but good to have when making a sandwich cutting more than one piece.
I have modified the extension piece so it reaches up against the other body to move pressure closer. Printed in Perth, it should be ok otherwise I have both petg and nylon with carbon fibre to lean against.
As you can see on the last pic there isn't much room to use a normal clamp and the motor slides very close to the rail at full depth.
