Rattle can nozzles ?

Got an ever increasing collection of spray paints but only one clear nozzle left, anyone know what type and where to get them from?

I looked on eBay and there are dozens of types mainly for graffiti "art", I just want no frills nozzles for basic jobs.

Steal them off spray cans in B&Q? Maybe try a local paint supplier that makes up aerosols, they may buy the nozzles in bulk rather than 1 being supplied with each empty can.

Dont you clear the nozzles after each use? Turn the can upside down and blow the nozzle clear for a couple of seconds,

leave them to soak in a spray can lid full of thinners then blow them out with compressed air can often save them

Always save the nozzles from old cans also. Not that that helps you now.

I've moved away from cans now except for low volume stuff like stove paint. I can't say I miss them at all.

I do now, I've only got one left and I stick it on a can of brake cleaner and blow it clear after every use.

There used to be a neat spraycan/gun adaptor that had the nozzle built in, I cant find it on Google because it’s throwing up thousands of the type that push down on the existing nozzle. The one I am thinking about didn’t use the original nozzle.

I keep an old jam jar half full of paint thinners and every time I’ve finished using a spray can I take the nozzle off and leave it in the jar ready for the next time.

This. You can sort out an excellent spray setup for the cost of about 15 aerosol cans or so. Cheap compressor, separator, some copper pipe and drop legs and an hvlp or mini hvlp off aliexpress. Far better finish and paint goes a long way all of a sudden, plus you can use 2k primers and top coats (isocyanate free ofcourse).
