I was asked to make a Raven for someone so knocked this up...still waiting on them coming to buy it

I have a big thing about Ravens, have done since I was a kid. Special birds.
That one has all the right bits in all the right places.

Such a fantastic bird and the sculpture is just as good, super job

If you're ever towards Caerlaverock way then there's a good population of Ravens there. Quite often here them cronking as they pass overhead when I'm in the area.

If your customer is a no-show how much would you be wanting for it?

Ravens are certainly on the UP! Recent removal of most of our crow population has lead to a void that has been taken up by Ravens (all well and good), I fear issues ahead in the future though as once a bird has "special status" its very hard to get NE to grant an individual licence (actually its darn near impossible as Buzzard grants prove, I know areas were they are very common indeed). The crows were culled for conservation reasons (protecting important ground nesters Wading birds and grouse). I quite like Ravens and their Cronking call but at some point in the future they will be a spanner in the works if numbers rise too high. Still it has surprised many how fast they have come back
