RB Fastners - Rubber Roofing

Just about finished the extension flat roof with rubber membrane. I have the trim still to fit including the metal trim plate for the wall upstand. They come with what’s called RB Fastners as per the picture below, which I’ve not used before. Are these supposed to be used with a wall plug, screw direct into the brick or pilot hole and drill into wall. Thanks in advance.

Seems to suggest self drilling though I'd have thought a pilot would be required like a masonary screw.

Have a test on some old masonry first.

They look like metal drilling screws, normally you would have a wooden under fascia with a roof and nail to that /screw

These are for securing the upstand to the brick wall. The trim and facia boards are as you stated going over wood and have UPVC barbed nails to secure them.
