It's really quiet, perfectly possible to hold a normal conversation next to it when it's filling, and it only takes about 3 minutes to fill (not sure what PSI it goes up to - forgot to check).
It's a dentist's back up compressor, quiet so the noise doesn't drown out the sound of my screaming Details on here. According to that it's about 8cfm at 75psi.
I suppose an impact wrench wouldnt go a-miss, and hopefully it should be able to run a small spot blaster, and (optimistically) a small die grinder and a cut off tool. Will have to wait for a while, though... Saving up for a collet set for my mill...
I used a 1/2" drive impact wrench, for years, until I discovered the 3/8" drive. Lovely little thing, so nimble, light & quick... amazing the amount of power it has for it's size (over 300 ft lbs). Hardly use the 1/2" at all now.
Sorry to tell you, all of those tools are very heavy on air. The Free Air Displaced (FAD) is between 25% to 30% less than the quoted CFM, and it's FAD that counts.
I'm not saying it will not run them, but you will be waiting for the compressor to play catchup all the time, buy your tools wisely and it will make a vast difference, to the consumption of air
It will still do 90psi+ of pressure, its just the CFM is quoted at 5 bar which is probably when the compressor actually kicks in. I think it'll be great actually at running most tools for intermittent use. 8 bar is actually pretty good, especially for the HP it is.
How much did you pay?
Avoid cheap impact guns. There terrible. I've just bought this. 1,190 ft lbs of torque!
