Recent wildlife

On the riverbank this week,lamprey ,river type I assume,looked up on Wikipedia,they have a fascinating story.
My dog is an indiscriminate killer of rodents,my boys pulled her off ,so she may survive,particularly as she had enough strength to bite one of them 10 minutes later.

Those Lamprey have to be one of the most disgusting creatures to come out of the Ark Its one of those things that make you say "just why"

That sh1te didn't come out of the ark. It's man made ( probably by a hairdresser).

Strange that, only the other day I was talking to a Lamprey, and it was saying the same about Humans !

I found one when we were kids and after the initial "wtf is that" I thought exactly the same.
Don't they latch on to things and eat/drink blood or something? **** 'orrible..

Very pleased,the vole escaped,so must have some strength,damn dog digging up the garden.
