Recommend me a spray gun

Been looking at cheapish HVLP for some months and have a job to do in August but cant afford any mistakes.

Water borne SoftTouch paint on expensive parts varying in size and complexity from 1" square to largest 14"x2"x2" aluminium. Will be two items in wood about 3"x4"x3".

What would you buy 0.8, 0.9 or 1mm nozzle. Data sheet recommends 1.3mm and above for doing cars.
Reckon a manageable spray spread about 1" wide ok, I will have to over spray changing direction theres holes and crevices.

If anyone knows of a cheapish gun that will give a good pattern fire away. Do have an old Wagner but mirror jet nozzle packed up, other std nozzle would give a round circular spray pattern with nothing in the middle, are the cheapy HVLP like this?

Can reccomend the cheap hvlp guns off ebay..took advice from here. .8mm nozzle.100ml cup. Great for small jobs. Around £13. Mines marketed as a "fast mover" gun...but I think they're all the same.

Just to give you some idea, I can easily get 2 coats on a push bike frame and forks with 100ml.

I have used cheap guns before but decided to invest in a devilbiss sri pro and cant recommend it enough, depends how much you have to paint but they are worth the money.

Reassuring to know thanks for the input so far.
I don't intend to ever use it much just for the odd small job but needs to leave a good top coat and base finish.

This application is multiple small parts that would add up to a push bike frame, so 100ml adequate.
Paints expensive though less than half the price of Alsacorps stuff plus shipping, vat etc. http://www.milai.it/en/pages/14/dashboards+soft+touch.html 1kg RAL colour, 1kg another Ral colour and 1kg TouchIt 200 Euros delivered. Each colour 8sq/M so will have loads left.

Search the forum and see the results langy has achieved using the cheapo mini hvlp. On small parts and engine blocks etc...
I don't think you will find better results whatever the price of the gun.

I did see Langys piccies last week will have another look to see exactly what was used although theres larger flatter surface areas. I have smaller intricate items think of it like hollow thick wall tubular products with side holes and cutouts within needing paint inside and out.

Ideally could do with a spray spread 2" wide for water borne paint. Would this be nearer to 0.8mm nozzle, 1mm found are 3" to 4" spread on one of the cheapies.

I would say mine was 1" at smallest 3" at widest...
