Recommend me good multi tool blades for metal

In all my years of multi too use I yet to find a decent multi tool blade that will cut steel well ! even the most expensive ones don't last, but I suppose it depends on what steel / thickness your trying to cut . Had minor success with thin ali at slow speed but then you get ridiculous vibration . that was with fein blades not cheap either .

Only ones I've found to be even half useful are fein hss.... expensive and fragile

The DeWalt semi circle ones I've used on steel quite a bit..they'll get the job done but blades are basically expendable imho.

Because of the large number of teeth they last a bit longer than the small blades...none are cheap though.

I use them only when I'm in a tight spot (pun intended)

I also have not found any that are noticeably better than others.

However, I have shied away from spending £30 odd, on one, as no one has said that any are better.

I try not to cut steel with them if I can help it, none of the blades I have tried seem to like it much! However in a pinch the other week I had to cut a building tie that was in the way and nipped to get 2 of these just in case.

Cut through the tie and is still good so far, didn't seem bad for the price, not a one cut wonder like some of them seem to be!

Works fantastically for chopping nails/bolts.

Would be particularly good for cistern to pan bolts @gaz1

"Good" is over-egging things a bit: a multitool isn't really a good choice for cutting steel, but I've found the Saxton Heavy Metal Carbide blades work reasonably well where I can't use a "better" tool (grinder or recipsaw), either because of poor access or due to the environment. They look to be broadly similar to the Smart Metal Buster blades (which I've not tried) in that they are Tungsten Carbide.
