Record 83 Vice

Just picked up a very honest Record 83 Quick release vice,
An FB bargain at £40 I thought

Is the green colour indicative of anything ?
I quite like it and if it is original I’d replicate it

no the No.3 is larger (4” jaw I think) with a larger opening
Once it’s back together I’ll post some side by side pics.
There is an No.84 which I think is more like the No.3 capacity but QR

so it’s a narrower jaw on the 83 but similar opening

looking forward to getting in to it soon, just as soon as I get some other stuff done and out of the way.
I managed to get some of the sawdust and grease that packed it, dug out too.
As this’ll be a keeper for me, I fancy doing it a different colour to roundel blue too
