Martin Luther king Jnr said "I have a dream" which ultimatley changed the lives of millions.
I too have a dream which, whilst is totally insignificant by comparison, will also change my life - I want to regain use of my garage which has become a dumping ground for probably 20 years. There is no rubbish nor anything to be disposed of but just too much "stuff".
Intention is to build a large workshop / shed behind the garage but like a lot of things in my life this is a roundtuit as the land slopes so will need leveling etc first.
In the mean time I'm considering turning the carport into a temporary store. There are gates on the front so can be made secure but rear open to weather and it gets very damp.
What I'm considering is attaching more scaffolding (which I've already got) to the carport frame to create an inner structure which can then be clad in something that will keep any garage contents stored within dry. Tarp is waste of time but money is tight so even OSB too expensive therefore I've been looking at alternatives. One is hardboard which has been painted with gloss or Correx sheeting.
My preference is Correx as it's cheap. I could be attached to scaffolding with cable ties and egdes sealed with gaffer tape.
What to others think - is Correx viable as a winter store under a carport ?
