Removing compressor tank plug

Can anyone offer advice on how I can remove the grub screw/plug from the compressor tank. I want to plumb in a high pressure line in the garage, especially for some air tools as the regulator appears to restrict flow/pressure too much. Its a Clarke Warrior 50L.
Its a 10mm allen grub screw but even with 1 1/2 inch allen socket and extension bar, its not moving. Are these glued/welded in. I have thought about getting some MAPP gas on it but not sure if it would damage it.

Heat it and apply torque at the same time.

and give a good tap with hammer also. shock treatment i just unscrewed a tap out of a propane bottle hitting it with a 2lb hammer

if it's a relatively old tank,there might be some rust round it due to the condensation,as already advised give it some heat n hammer.

Thanks. Will have another go tonight with some "fine adjusting" tools so long as I havent rounded off the allen heads too much.

If you've rounded it weld a 10mm bolt in the head and use a spanner on it. The heat from welding will help release it.

There is no need to resort to violence!

If they're held in with proper sealing/locking compound this will soften on moderate heating.

I had a tank with really tight plugs that just wouldn't shift, heat from a small propane torch let them screw out easily.
