I would like to buy a spare chain for my Lidl petrol chainsaw. The current original chain is still in good condition, but I don't want to be caught without a spare chain if things go wrong in the field.
The chainsaw guide bar (18") is labelled Oregon Pro-Am .325
There are 72 drive links in the chain, which is repeatedly stamped 21.
The chain gauge measures about 1.45 mm, which I assume makes it 1.5 mm
There are plenty of cheap chains on eBay. Are they best avoided or will they be similar quality to the one now fitted?
I don't want to purchase a premium quality chain as I frequently cut up pallets and other junk.
Thanks.
