Hi so bought an old lathe lots of worn or missing labels but the main one i needed to replace was the Thread cutting/surface feeds chart this is my attempt at creating a replacement may be of use to others
Found a supplier of a complete set bit pricey but main issue was hes in Russia and wont ship to UK !
I have the manual but this helps for general layout and little details
So I reproduced it in excel which was a pain but I learnt alot in the process
bought some water based inkjet compatible transfer paper I couldnt think of another way
Printed off quite well on my argos £50 printer then 3 coats of clear spray laquer ( i only had matt)
Trimmed to size on a handy thing I found in a bank I was closing down , I thought best way to join was to have the top and bottom of end the same for 10mm and overlap in hindsight i would trim flush in future as darker where it does
Then into a bowl of water and applied to a bit of stainless i had cut to size, its not perfect but I think it came out pretty well for about £5 cost
